Sinopsis

The study examines how museums can strengthen their sustainability by merging cultural interpretation with creative economic strategies. It focuses on the development of an incubator model that connects curatorial practice, local craftsmanship, and digital communication to generate long-term value. Drawing from comparative insights between international and Indonesian museum contexts, the research identifies gaps in retail design, storytelling capacity, and collaborative entrepreneurship within Indonesian museums. The pilot implementation of the Economy Experience Incubator Program in 2025 demonstrates how museum-based creative production can transform interpretive narratives into marketable, culturally grounded products. The findings reveal that when communication, creativity, and commerce operate in synergy, museums evolve from static repositories into active mediators of cultural meaning and innovation. This approach contributes to redefining museum sustainability as a communicative and participatory process rather than a purely financial endeavor.
